Paigh is a German Wire-Haired Pointer. She is a big girl, but moves Her favourite activity involves water or mud, and the more she can spread it around, the better she likes it... Another hobby is BARKING in a silly high-pitched yip when you dont throw the ball fast enough for her to chase. A lovely profile head-shot, showing the typical characteristics of the breed. ![]() Below: Paigh as a puppy, waiting for the ball to be thrown. ![]() You can see the pure joy on Paigh's face as she comes over the bar. If there were sound, you could hear her laughing out loud! |
Below: Paigh bounds over a single bar jump. With her long legs & ears, she looks somewhat awkward as she jumps, but she gets the job done! Again, above and below, the joy that Paigh experiences as she runs, jumps and turns is easy to see. It is hard for her to wait patiently while her handler works another dog, and she barks with frustration at times. She will be competing at her first trial this December in Warragul. Left: going through the weave-poles. Paigh has been taught to weave with a different technique to the other dogs on this page. She has been taught to see the line through the weaves, and work rapidly towards the end, threading her head through the poles as she goes. The other dogs were taught to see the poles, and bend around them by bouncing. |
