ABOVE; In her younger days, Dream comes through the Tyre set at '600', the highest jumping height.

RIGHT; Competing in Sale, Dream goes carefully up the see-saw, working along until she reaches the crucial point at which her weight will tip the board.  She then waits and rides the plank to the ground before exiting safely.

Dream is a German Shepherd Dog, born and bred in the Latrobe Valley area by Herokahn Kennels.

She is now 11 years old, and has retired from active competition.  A recent   illness over Christmas 2013 has meant that this lovely   dog is not as strong nor  active as  she used to be,  and has lost some hearing   and eyesight.

She still comes along to Club to say hello and so some gentle work to keep active, going through tunnels, and over low jumps to keep her brain active and muscles limber.  Being a working dog all her life, it would be hard for her to suddenly stop.

She also enjoys having her outings and spending time with her handler and other friends.

Dream's specialty is weaving.  She negotiates the twelve weave-poles confidently, and rarely missed an entry   or made a mistake.

So confident was she at weaving, that  this dog would often weave  independently away from her handler, needing no more instruction than an initial 'Go Weave'.  She finds the weaves  a little more challenging now, as   stiffness makes it difficult for her to  bend around the poles.
