Katiebel is a cross between a Jack Russell Terrier (we think) and a Blue Australian Cattle Dog and is a real mixture!   She has several behavioural issues, being of a somewhat nervous temperament.  She works well at home and in familiar surroundings, but often gets VERY distracted when competing in different settings.  She is now 8 years old, although from these photos you would never guess that.  She is quite small, coming up just below her handler's knee.

Her concentration is poor, and it has taken endless repetition and patience for her to reach her current standard.  Working and competing for this dog is more about keeping her stimulated and maintaining control and a trusting relationship with her handler.

Katie loves anything that involves movement!  She has heaps of

 nervous energy that constantly needs re-directing for her own

sake and her family's sanity! Above you can see the enormous

 drive on her face as she hurls herself forward.
